While recuperating from a motorcycle accident in 1978, Heather Stone learned to make stained glass windows to pass the time. What she didn't know is that it would be her life's work. Lessons in stained glass at the San Diego State University's Craft Center taught me what she needed to know. She moved to Estes Park, CO that summer and landed a job in wholesale stained glass production studio. By 1980 Heather had started to design glass boxes with inlaid seashells. She had moved back to San Diego at that point, so incorporating seashells was a natural progression. Heather's glass work has been in several galleries and gift shops across the country. Many of my pieces have been purchased and have made thier way to dozens of countries throughout the world. She graduated with a B.A. in Art HIstory and Fine Art from San Diego State. Living in Estes Park, CO. now she has begun to incorproate her original photograph, antiqued postcards and fused glass pieces that she has made. Please enjoy these one-of-a-kind, signed and dated original art works.
