Randy Clark

The art I create combines realism and the abstract. I believe spontaneous is a valid description of my current artwork; my mind's eye envisions something that might be quite different from the end product, but yet enlightening. Through monotypes & mixed media, I create "dream images", where the interpretation evokes an emotion in the eye of the beholder. I love the mix of shapes & colors, both transparent & thick application, and also the absence of color (letting the paper be a strong part of the creation). The process captures me into hours of pleasure as I exuberantly experiment & continually think of new things.
