Susan's fascination for the craft of handweaving began in 1967 with a BFA in Home Economics from the Kansas State University followed by an MFA in Textile Design from the University of Kansas. She gained valuable technical skills studying under Mary Snyder at the Chautauqua Institute in New York. Susan's tapestries are finely crafted, combining beauty, color with fiber, and technique with creativity.
