| Gwenna Reich, photographer, was born in Scott City, Kansas the eleventh child of farmers Joe and Virginia Baker who resided in a small town of Marienthal nearby. Gwenna spent the majority of her childhood outside in the element of nature working, playing, and roaming the hills of western Kansas. This has given her the ability to see and feel the quiet beauty of Kansas. She has spent countless hours photographing a herd of buffalo, standing in a field of sunflowers covered with pollen, and patiently waiting on a butterfly to land on a flower just so you can enjoy the beauty of the Kansas outdoors with her. What she discovered in her travels throughout the state is there is beauty in all areas, just let the picture find you.
