| Celeste Balog, Kansas artist, has been actively involved in making art since she was nine, taking her first oil painting lessons in the back of a bowling alley. From that point forward, she has been passionate about line, form and color. When she became a potter, her canvases became three-dimensional. She invokes her love for color and line as well as her respect for nature by using her creative energy to bring both fanciful and natural images to life on her pots. She believes the objects that hold your bouquets, your vegetables, and your utensils should enhance, honor and bring joy to each day. |
